Look what we’ve just found! It’s a transparent bubble-shaped tent for.. well.. camping maybe?
I’m not quite sure but it’s pretty cool and I bet the pillow view is absolutely amazing at night (and during a storm!). Just imagine setting-up one of these in a beautiful location with scenic panoramic views.
The BubbleTree is it’s official name and it is designed by a talented Frenchman called Pierre Stephane Dumas. These very cool structures can be hired out at sites across France for around £400 pounds a night.
Pierre Stephane Dumas says: “Having a night under the stars or seeing the sun rise and set is not something that many people experience anymore. A normal tent or camper van means people miss out on these things.”
Designed with the idea of bringing people closer to nature, photos of the BubbleTree show the tent to be kitted-out with luxury furniture, far from what you would expect from a regular camping experience.
You might want to start your stay wearing all your clothes though because I think we’ve just found the perfect shelter for nudists and exhibitionists alike haha!
